ill communication 3

Experimenting:
I wanted to be free and have fun with this project so i decided to combine my art skills to create a background. It's turned into a sophisticated, modern, period, classy vibe and I like the aura it gives off.

I played around with cutting out and sticking the image, creating natural shadows which i love.

reason I chose blue
calming colour
settled and easy
suggests serenity like the milk settles the stomach
Blue is considered beneficial to the mind and body.
This is a color that seeks peace and tranquility
Light blues can be refreshing and friendly. Dark blues are more strong and reliable.

My original image of the acrylic painting.

I also tried with sticking letters, but it wasn't translating very well.

And also did super impose the milk onto the painting too.

ill communication 2

I went ahead a scrapped the old idea, not realising I'd chosen one of the hardest audiences ever! I wanted to focus on a niche market, a problem for a certain type of people so when they saw it they could relate.
I focused on Niche markets so did a little brainstorm.

I was always intrigued by the new a2 Milk advert on television, and when i researched more I don't see the connection between the two. But its good because it means they are open minded and have different approaches. So i chose them as a stand in product for my new idea.

Who is your audience?
-people with problems pertaining to milk

Why is this project important?
- to help develop a technique + style and be able to target certain audiences or niche markets.

What are you proposing?
- a branding project for an underground station advertisement.

Where does the project position for you?

- understanding industry practice and what makes an eye catching, engaging piece of advertising.

I took most of my inspiration from the MOMA adverts that I saw in my tube station and wanted to play around with illustration instead of still imagery, or maybe even combine both.

ill communication: breif

This brief is to use a2 Milk™ as a stand in product to produce an advertisement for the London Underground Service TFL. The advert needs to be large scaled, easy to read and understand. The product and message needs to be present in an instant. It needs to stand out and draw peoples attention. The main message needs to shown first, then to later on read for more information. It needs to be fun, bright and loud.

Things they need to know:
Information about what a2 stands for, the difference between the two types of cows.
a2 milk is easier to digest
Specially select the a2 cows

a slogan

‘real milk for people who don’t get on with milk’

ill communcation

When the project was set, I was on my way to a pre-planned family holiday to Florida. I used the situation to look at design from a different perspective. In Miami City, the high rise buildings and big roads, and lavish yachts. In South Beach Miami the art deco buildings and colour. And Orlando the oversized, big and bold, colourful approach inspired me. I went to a few restaurants and they differ from London, so I started to take pictures of examples of the design choices.

So my idea was to look into branding, I was always interested in it and liked my previous branding project. I wanted to create a faux pop up shop or food truck and create all the branding for it. So i looked into the ideas more and did a few brainstorms on concepts and ideas.

Who is your audience?
-Children, 2-10 years

Why is this project important?
- to help develop a technique + style and be able to target certain audiences.

What are you proposing?
- a branding project for young children food based, healthy, parents like and appeals to audience.

Where does the project position for you?
- being able to create ideas + execute them for target markets and come up with marketing ideas and create business (innovation).

Some of my notes and drawings...

Then I started to draw up some examples of AI and see what i could come up with.

At this point I didn't like the concept very much, I wasn't passionate about making and spoke to my tutor and decided a more niche route would be better than such a broad outcome.
